Liu•Jo SS17 Launch

Champagne and canapes

Bela and I were invited to check out the new spring / summer collection of Italian brand Liu•Jo. We went down to the London store on Marylebone High Street. We were greeted with champagne and canapes – win! The collection is really fun and cool. If we were to compare it to a High Street brand, we’d say a French Connection or Karen Millen vibe.

Bottoms up

We both took a liking to a pair of jeans which were jazzed up with some pearls (£127). A lot of the jeans also had the label “Bottom Up” to give the booty a little boost so we can all feel a bit like a Kardashian. It’s a yes from us! In some of their stores they even customise your jeans for you. So if you want bling down the sides, they can make that happen.

The other pieces that really stood out for us was a real chic white laced jacket with silver trim. It could be worn with a dress or skirt for a wedding or would even work with a pair of jeans for a night out or dinner date. I also had my eye on an electric blue jumpsuit with a lacey crochet top.

Summer soon come

I quite liked a maxi yellow skirt, it really got me excited that summer is around the corner and we can replace the old ankle boots for some wedges!
Liu•Jo also sell bags, purses and wallets, shoes, trainers and there is even a kid’s line.

The ladies at Liu•Jo were really welcoming making the launch really fun. We browsed the new collection, did some mingling, drank champagne and watched a catwalk of some of the new collection.

So if you’re looking for a pair of jeans with a difference or something for a special summer occasion then it’s defo worth checking out the SS17 collection at Liu•Jo.
